Types of Industrial relations.

Industrial relations include four types of relations:

  1. Labour relations i.e., relations between union- management (also known as labour management relations);
  2. Group relations i.e., relations between various groups of workmen i.e., workmen, supervisors, technical persons, etc.
  3. Employer-employee relations i.e., relations between the management and employees. It denotes all management employer relations except the union- management relations;
  4. Community or Public relations i.e., relations between the industry and the society.
